Rage Against The Machine
UC Berkeley Graphic Design Program - Student Project
Design Problem:
The design task was to design and code a website for the band, Rage Against The Machine.
Design Process:
The responsive website had to reflect the personality of the band and showcase their achievement and their music. In keeping with the vibe of the band, I used typefaces and colors that reflected their band philosophy. The homepage uses a strong bold photo showcasing all the band members together. The other pages use grids and lists to bring an orderly organization of information. The merchandise page uses a drop-down menu to help fans choose their band paraphernalia. The initial design was created with Adobe Illustrator, wireframe prototypes were created with Adobe XD. The final design was coded with HTML5 and CSS3 using Atom and Github.
Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, HTML5 and CSS3.
